Reynolds Lake Oconee Mens Club Rules

1.  Ball hit out of bounds:

• Stroke and Distance 1 shot, if questionable off tee hit provisional
  • 1 stroke penalty

 2.  Lost Ball:

•  Drop near location, 2 club lengths, no closer to the hole.
  
  • 1 stroke penalty
•    If ball is lost in open grass area and there are no hazards
  
  • (i.e. water, red or white stakes, fescue):
    
    •  Take a drop ball.
    •  1 stoke penalty 

 3.  Hazardous lie:

•    If your ball is on rocks or a root of a tree:
  
  • Take a drop ball within 2 club lengths no closer to the hole.
  •  No stroke penalty (Don’t want anyone to break their clubs)

 4.  Putting:

•   Putt everything out.
•   Exception:  Gimmies allowed if your ball is within the length marked on your    putter shaft and one of the players in your group agrees.
  
  • Remember to add another stroke for the Gimmie.

 5.  Sand Traps:

•    If the trap is in poor condition, rake the area and replace the ball replicating the lie.

 6.  Ball in Fairway:

•    You can roll the ball over to improve the lie for balls in the fairway only.
•    Exception:  Rule 3.

7.  Double Par + 1:

•    If you hit double par pick up and record your score as double par + 1. (speed of play)

8.   Cell Phone usage all phones on silent, limited calls during play, if you need to take a call be         courteous of fellow players

9.    Side betting is okay between players provided they want to gamble.

10.  Conduct and Language be aware of your surroundings mostly in Club House areas.

11. We are looking for 3.5 hour rounds no slow play, be respectful of other players.
